Khin is a feminist digital rights activist; her career has been shaped by a passion for making the internet safe for human rights defenders, activists, journalists, and civil society organizations. Prior to joining OTF, Khin worked on platform accountability, led holistic digital and operational security support for human rights defenders and activists, facilitated digital threat sharing and analysis work, led the creation of Myanmar Digital Rights Forum—bringing multi-stakeholders together to discuss protecting digital rights—and conducted research into surveillance and censorship technologies in Myanmar.
She has extensive experience managing large donor-supported projects and in building bridges between civil society and industry to drive meaningful change.
