Sylvia worked with East and Horn of Africa Human Rights Defenders Network.
Her project focused on investigating the ways in which government and other non-state actors are limiting freedom of expression and other rights online in Tanzania. Prior to this fellowship, Sylvia has actively advocated for Internet Freedom in Africa through research, supporting Internet governance training and participating in conversations on Internet policy in Africa.
