NewNode Channels

newnode1.png

NewNode is an end-to-end encrypted messenger built upon a decentralized peer-to-peer (P2P) and device-to-device (D2D) content delivery system. NewNode Channels allow secure broadcasting over a P2P/D2D ad-hoc network even when connectivity is compromised or content is censored.

NewNode protocol builds a global P2P network that delivers data and allows people to message. In the absence of infrastructure, NewNode can use direct connections between devices to build mesh networks. When access is censored, networked peer connections can route requests to blocked content.

For app developers, NewNode offers an SDK with easy integration that will let your users access your app through the P2P network. NewNode steps aside and uses direct connections to the server when they can be made, but provides needed content when they cannot.

For people who want to browse the internet or message in adverse environments, NewNode offers a personal VPN and messenger.

For community members who want to help, you can strengthen the network by running altruistic nodes in good network environments to help people who have limited internet access - a little like seeding.

NewNode is developed by a team that created FireChat, led BitTorrent's response to deep packet inspection (DPI), and invented the protocol LEDBAT. For more information, visit newnode.com.
