CIRCLean/Kitten Groomer

In many repressive countries USB data transfer is the most common method of transferring information but presents significant security concerns.

Kitten Groomer is an independent hardware solution to sanitize documents from untrusted USB flash drives. The device automatically converts untrusted documents into a readable but unmodifiable format on a clean USB key/stick and makes clear to the user if it was not possible. This project will improve the software code, create user documentation, perform robust security testing and disseminate the tool to key users including activists and journalists.
