SourcesDB is an open-source annotation tool and database for social media sources that gives a rich view of metadata that can help establish the credibility of a given account.

In parallel with the rise of social networks as a means to source and share reporting about breaking news events of international importance, increasingly state and non-state actors are hijacking social media to spread viral disinformation. SourcesDB combines research, human-centered design methods, computational linguistics and open source development to bring this tool to journalists and transparency advocates.
