This project project will gather credible technical measurements on network interference in Ethiopia.
Despite media and citizen reports on the intermittent targeted Internet shutdowns in Ethiopia following protests and other demonstrations against repressive tactics by the Ethiopian government, there still lacks credible evidence that can support effective circumvention or awareness-raising campaigns. This work will be to gather credible technical measurements on network interference in Ethiopia as part of wider reporting on Internet shutdowns during political protests happening in the Eastern Africa country.
