InterSecLab is a digital forensics laboratory in Brazil working with civil society organizations (CSOs) to monitor and map threats faced by vulnerable communities. It also serves as a secure environment and infrastructure for activists, CSOs, and other communities to safely research digital threats as well as assess if they are being surveilled by the government.
OTF previously supported the establishment of the lab and, with this second phase, will support critical updates to their infrastructure and ongoing digital forensics work focusing on vulnerable communities in Brazil and Latin America broadly.
