CiviCERT is a network of Computer Emergency Response (CERTs) and Rapid Response teams that work in coalition with civil society on issues focused on digital security, threat intelligence, and work supporting help desks globally. The coalition, which includes many of OTF’s projects, has provided a space for critical skill sharing and information sharing and has become a leading and trusted coalition in the internet freedom space.
OTF funded the participation of 40 individuals from the majority world in the May 2024 convening in Berlin. Without this funding, members representing some of the most vulnerable communities would not be able to participate in this critical network and benefit from the important support it provides.
