OTF is currently seeking proposals for two distinct service requests: (1) Visualizing OTF’s Application Pipeline and (2) Rebuilding OTF’s Web Site and Proposal System with Django.
(1) Visualizing OTF’s Application Pipeline
Deadline: 2017-07-07
Apply Here
Since 2013, over 1,500 requests for support have been submitted to OTF via our website. Together, these applications include a number of fields capable of being analyzed, including total amounts requested, region(s) of focus, and intended beneficiaries, among others. At present, OTF lacks the capacity to adequately track this ever-accumulating source of information, aside from at a rudimentary level. With this request, OTF is seeking individual(s) or firms to help us understand what we can learn from our existing data, identify what if any data we could collect to deepen our understanding, and then create an initial analysis and visualization of OTF’s requests for support. The goal is to design and create an automated data visualization web app that can display aggregate information from OTF’s application system.
More information and the application for this request can be found here.

(2) Rebuilding OTF’s Web Site and Proposal System with Django
Deadline: 2017-07-16
Apply Here
OTF is migrating its website, inclusive of its public-facing website and proposal system application, from Drupal 7 to Django. OTF is therefore looking for one to three individuals to create a Django application as a replacement for our existing Drupal application. This includes designing and creating a central application providing an authenticated management API; deploying a Django-based CMS to maintain our existing public-facing website; conducting a full re-design of the web-based interface for proposal submission management; and creating an interface to the management API for user interaction via Slack, Signal, and email. The goal is to produce a drop-in replacement to our current application.
More information and the application for this request can be found here.
