Gurshabad Grover is a technologist and legal researcher based in Bangalore, India.
As an Information Controls Fellow, Gurshabad’s current research, hosted at the Open Observatory of Network Interference, examines jurisdictions with decentralized information controls. Specifically, the project aims to uncover the role of private internet service providers in exacerbating or minimizing the effects of state-ordered censorship.
Gurshabad previously worked at the Centre for Internet and Society, where his research and writing focused on censorship and surveillance in India, network security and privacy, and internet governance.
